My name is Julie Robinson, and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist.
My approach is a compassion-focused, person-centered, attachment-based approach to create a safe space to share and discuss issues you are experiencing and to share evidence-based strategies to help decrease your unwanted symptoms. My belief is that you are the expert in your own life and that I am here to help you see yourself and the situations you find yourself in, from different perspectives to further help decrease your unwanted symptoms and to increase your overall feelings of well-being.
It is my responsibility to provide a judgment-free space where you are honored for the amazing and unique being that you are. Further, where you are allowed to be your authentic self and experience the unconditional positive regard and appreciation you deserve. In addition, I believe that it is my ethical responsibility to honor you and your individual views and to not impose any on you. Also, that all people deserve the same human rights no matter their gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, economic status, or educational level. I love people and feel it is my purpose to help others find peace and genuine joy in their lives. Additionally, and importantly, I am an ally for the LGBTQIA+ community..
